Bawaal Movie Review – Story
The story of the film starts with Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan), who studies in school in Lucknow. He is a master in pretence and with this false pretence, he has created his image in the entire Lucknow. But Ajay is completely blank. Then Nisha (Jhanvi Kapoor) comes into his life, who is everything a girl should be. Nisha is beautiful, and capable, has travelled the country and the world, comes from a good family and is independent. But it has been 10 years since he started having epileptic seizures.
By maintaining his stellar image, Ajay wins the hearts of Nisha and her family. But on the wedding night, before bidding farewell, Nisha meets with an unexpected accident and Ajay is afraid that if people come to know about it, what effect will it have on his image?
After this, Ajay stays away from Nisha, does not talk to her properly and sometimes does not even take her out. During this time, a problem arises in Ajay’s professional life and he is forced to take help from Nisha. What is compulsion, what is support and how are both connected to the Second World War? Are Ajay-Nisha getting along smoothly and does the film convey a meaningful message? To answer all these questions you will have to watch the film.

Bawaal Movie Review – Star Performance
Using his magnetism, Varun Dhawan effortlessly sinks into the role of Aju and develops a bond of affection and hostility with him due to some of his characteristics. The transition from cocky to humorous and uptight feels very authentic without being pretentious.
Janhvi Kapoor is facing difficulties in character writing, as she is shown to be independent in one scene and is immediately married in another due to her medical condition. Despite these flaws, Janhvi manages to shine in some scenes
Manoj Pahwa has suffered complete degradation, and if he agreed to do this only for the sake of gratification, then that is absolutely fine. Vyas Hemang, the Gujarati co-traveller, is a venture package I initially thought was Kumar Varun. He is given a chance to provide some light-hearted relief along with some small additional duties by Pratik Pachori, who attempts to be a source of entertainment for Dhawan’s Vicky. The presence of Mukesh Tiwari in the film holds no significance.
Cinematography and Direction
Nitesh Tiwari has taken charge of directing the Bawaal. Nitesh Tiwari has managed to win the hearts of the audience. The film’s most remarkable scene is to depict the blooming love between Nisha and Aju in the gas chamber. Ashwini Ayyan is the writer of this film. The film’s story is far from being a boring romantic love story. The cinematography of the film is handled by Mitesh Mirchandani. The film excellently showcases the visuals of the Second World War.
