Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Movie Review – Star Performance
Karthik played the character of Akshay Kumar from the old Bhool Bhulaiyaa in the film, due to which there was a lot of pressure on him to play his character like Rooh Baba. But after the release of the film, he was relieved that he was doing an excellent job in this character. Although Kiara is Karthik’s heroine in the film, whatever the scope of her role, she has played it very well.
Apart from Karthik, the second role in the film is of Tabu who surprises in the end with her twist and turn acting. Chhota Pandit Rajpal Yadav from the old film is also in the same role and his acting is evergreen. Astrologer Baba Sanjay Mishra, his wife Ashwini Kaleskar, Milind Gunaji in the role of Bade Thakur etc. all look fit in their roles.
Direction, Music
Anees Bazmee has succeeded in making this sequel as entertaining as its predecessor. It includes both elements with a few omissions, as promised. While fulfilling this purpose, it keeps you entertained.
Sandeep Shirodkar has remixed Hare Ram Hare Krishna from OG and I’m not even complaining. It matches well with the mood of the scenes and the song ‘Ami Je Tomar’ by Tushar Joshi is ear-pleasing. The rest of the songs don’t click.
