I want to ask every single actor whether their salaries were so big that they caused such huge damage to their careers. Arjun Kapoor, I hope this is the last phase of your wrong script selection and Lady Killer and Kutty will bring back the glorious side in you. He plays the role of Gautam along with Mehra and is all about taking revenge on almost everyone.

John Abraham needs a break at this time and he needs to give a new direction to his filmography. Talking of crisis, for some reason Disha Patani, who looks like Sonal Chauhan, wears the most expensive clothes for the poorest character and I say that financially as well as in terms of writing. The DOP is working with Daily Soap Opera for a music video where the lighting looks very fake and the set is also freshly built. The visual effects of folding two scenes into each other and fading the top layer are 2000. We can get better at this. The timeline of the film keeps changing and the editor makes it worse with his questionable art.
Music has always been Suri’s forte, but this is a big failure. I still hear Mohammed Irfan singing the soothing Banjare Ghar when it rains, or the wonderful Aavari. But Returns is Mohit Suri’s most forgettable album to date.

Poor Writing
I wonder what the producers were thinking while approving the cheesy dialogues. The film suffers from a disastrous writing spell. The same mistake was made in Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marjaavaan. You have to change with the times and bring a fresh perspective. We are not in the 90s but in the third decade of the 21st century. Even if you can’t adapt, at least try to present the story in a better way.

I don’t hate movies. It takes money and the hard work of hundreds of people to make them. For the love of cinema and your bank balance, please invest in films that are substantial and worth making. Every bad film kills the business of a worthy film and this creates the most anger. After the screening, someone said that this is a mass film.
