Gadar 2 Movie Review – Star Performance
Sunny Deol has shown that he can still deliver Tara Singh with the same energy, style and conviction, this has been proved by him even after two decades. Unfortunately, he was stuck with a poor script and he should have thought better before agreeing to ruin a classic like Gadar. As an actor, it’s a pleasure for him, but sad that he chose to do this. After Ameesha Patel loses her attraction towards Sakina, she manages to create an effective disappointment.
This entire setup has been created because of Utkarsh Sharma, but his entire performance has let everyone down. They are made to imitate Rajesh Khanna, Prithviraj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar, which even established actors think twice before doing.
Through Simrat Kaur’s smile sarcastically asks Utkarsh “Actor and you?” And many of us would roar in unison, “Absolutely!” Manish Wadhwa doesn’t look like a guy from a Bollywood movie directed in 2023 as an evil Pakistani army general, he can be seen like an old Pakistani soldier from the 90s Bollywood movies who talks like him and feels.
Direction
Anil Sharma tried to bring some new elements to the story in the second instalment, but he did not succeed in it. The film features VFX and CJI effects as well as real action scenes. The story of the film slows down in the second half as it is filled with only action sequences. The father and son keep getting separated and every time the Pakistani army and army personnel are seen chasing them and firing.
In some scenes, we all saw the characters running in the middle of the shootout and saving themselves only with their hands. The reason this story is strong is that it fails because so much happens so fast.

Conclusion
Concluding the review, the Gadar 2 movie is now old and offers nothing new. This movie lacks logic and feels very dramatic. Hindu-Muslim wars, debates or India-Pakistan references become frequent, making it seem as if the topic has been overblown. But overall, this is not Sunny Deol’s film, his onscreen son Utkarsh Sharma takes this film forward.
