Vasudev (Utkarsh Sharma) was an orphan child who lost his parents in the riots instigated by the ISI. He was brought up by the priest of Krishna temple in Mathura. A change takes place in the life of genius Vasu. When he goes to study at IIT and meets Nandini (Ishita Chauhan), Nandini gives more attention to his career than love.
After moving to America for a job, Vasu joins the Indian intelligence agency RAW and risks his life for a dangerous mission. However, they are not aware that their life is about to take a dangerous twist with the entry of their nemesis MRS (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). He considers himself a ‘genius’.

Genius Full Movie Review – Star Performance
Utkarsh Sharma made his debut much before his time. There is no quality in him yet that can earn him the status of a hero. He doesn’t even have any quality at least compared to Tiger Shroff’s flexible body. Although he looks tolerable with a beard, I wish Anil Sharma had advised him to keep a beard.
Ishita Chauhan does not succeed in leaving a mark. Her acting is very artificial as she cannot control herself in emotional scenes. She looks ordinary and simple in the rest of the film. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is good in a few scenes, but that’s it. The film is average, which makes even a person like Nawaz laugh. Mithun Chakraborty rarely has dialogues, he just exists.

Direction, Music
Anil Sharma fails in both direction and writing. The success of a good film depends on the story and direction, but Genius lacked both. The story was good, but with a lot of changes, a new director and a new cast. More than two hours and thirty minutes of time have been wasted and I cannot recall the memories of that precious moment.
Every film has a mediocre song, but Himesh Reshammiya has shown his special power in this one. Tera Fitoor & Dil Meri Na Sune have very average songs, the rest are not worth listening to even once. Monty Sharma’s background score also plays intermittently and has nothing to do with the film.
Conclusion
Despite the weak script of the film, Utkarsh Sharma has managed to spread his charm despite being a newcomer. Apart from this, Mithun Chakraborty has performed well in the role of National Security Advisor.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has an explosive entry in the film, but he does not make much of an impact as a genius. While music-wise, the first half has some good songs, the second half completely fails. Overall, ‘Genius’ is completely ineffective.
