KGF 2 Movie Review – Story
There is a dialogue about the story of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, which is the story of the stubbornness of a mother living in a small village and Rocky can go to any extent to fulfil the same stubbornness. In ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, director Prashant Neel and Yash have fulfilled the promise and this time in Chapter 2 they have tried to make it even more grand, huge, emotional and entertaining. After a long wait of four years, Chapter 2 has arrived and looked at the film, it can be said that it has not disappointed its fans at all.
Usually, sequels are not that effective after the success of a film, but here director Prashanth Neil Granger has created a great package of entertainment for the Hindi audience by assembling Bollywood actors like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. It has the contribution of Bollywood’s expert actors along with hair-raising action, Yash’s swag and style.

KGF 2 Movie Review – Star Performance
Suffice it to say that why it couldn’t have been anyone other than Yash to captured Rocky’s manhood with such precision and swag is explained in Chapter 1. This line of thinking is further strengthened by transforming him from ‘brother to God’ in Chapter 2. The makers have ensured that Rocky Bhai continues to boast of his high-octane presence in every alternate scene. One cannot stop oneself from listening to his self-written dialogue,
Srinidhi Shetty gets very little to contribute to the narrative, plus she gets one song (Mehbooba) which clutters the second half without any solid explanation. The hope of repeating Agneepath’s Kancha Cheena was attached to Sanjay Dutt, but due to the short-sighted treatment of the story, he did not get a single chance to inject any intrigue.
Raveena Tandon remains one-dimensional in the film, where she plays her PM role without much impact. Prakash Raj is present only as a narrator, where he has not added anything except his voice.
Direction, Music
Prashanth Neel, who is a ‘fan-worshipped’ star, gets into the service just like every other director. The film celebrates Yash not once or twice but in every scene, but Prashanth doesn’t care in his work. They fail to find equally interesting reasons for doing so in most instances.
Ravi Basrur works across a vast spectrum, where his background scores are very forceful. His BGM in this film also complements some scenes, but they are on steroids, burdening others. I won’t have any of his songs on my playlist after the movie, but the problem is that they aren’t even situational.
